Demag Cranes Ag Show Big Profit In Crane Sales 30/01/2008 Starting the new financial year 2007/2008 with a healthy increase in revenue, StarDemag Cranes AG released high earnings for the first quarter. The order volume for Demag products, especially in cranes for sale are a good indication that sales will remain high for the following quarters. The news in the construction, crane industry has been spread and promises that the current boom in construction will only increase. CEO of Demag Cranes, Harald J. Joos noted, “We are very pleased with the performance in the first quarter, demand for our products remain high. This is an excellent basis for profitable growth in the next quarters.” The increase has largely been attributed to the demand for Process Cranes, compared to the prior-year. The Services segment also continued to see a positive trend with order intake growing by 10.3 percent. |
